I really like this strap. Whether it’s hanging from my shoulder or slung under an arm. Quick disconnects are very secure but I keep a hand on the camera anyway.

Iv been searching for a while for a strap, I hate the manufacturer standard straps, prefer branded ones with discrete name ect like nikon used to do with leather ones or fancy patterned ones from the 90s... but I also love using a camera all natural too and once a strap is fitted that's it, it's there till death do us part... so very impressed with this little gem.. feels secure holding the D4 yet for the long exposures work so easily detachable so it doesn't act like a ship in full sail... and becouse you can change the strap Iv got more than one colour to switch which I love and also have one long and one shorter for winter summer months... you know the scene... winter coats and the short strap feels like being in bondage and Sumner wear the long strap can feel like your hanging low... so honestly kodac where credits due an all.... final point and wish, don't let the stock run out and bring in other colours/ patterns.. take a look at some of nikons 90s straps (marble pattern).... just saying 2nd hand prices for those are hot in good condition.... just remember those not wanting stock straps want something catchy and interesting....

Even if it just Kodak branded, works great while not being too bulky.

The strap is just an inch wide, too narrow for a 4 pound camera I use. The length adjustments are hard to make so switching from neck strap to Black Rapid style sling is time consuming. Wearing it as a sling causes sharp edges to chalf neck from raising and lowering. I don't like the big KODAK name on the strap for aesthetics and because it hinders adjustment. The pics don't show the snap and velco part of the removable pieces if you want a single point connection.Material is not too thin as others claimed, IMO.After a few days use, I'm now just using it as a backup to a backpack Falcom F38 clip. It's great to have for peace of mind and when removing the backpack.

This could be a good strap for someone looking for a minimal form over function strap for a camera with small strap lug holes.I love the look of these and I really wanted to convince myself to keep them but I just couldn't because of a couple draw backs.1: the way the strap is folded leaves a irritating edge that could bother your neck.2: While the metal parts are nice, the way I put my camera in the bag with the strap laying on top would cause scratches over time3: I like to adjust between normal neck chest carry and side sling often and the adjustment to change length took to much time for my liking. Also the base plate for $18 was a bit expensive and also pretty thick.I decided to keep the Pgytech strap instead.

Justo como la describo, es muy bonita, suave, mucho más suave que peak design, muy práctica y funcional. Y como muchas correas actuales es cara. Pero vale la pena si quieres algo diferente.

Well, if nothing else, although there is plenty else, as a long-time photographer that once depended on Kodak, it’s nice to see their name Kodak back on something, even if it is likely via a licensing agreement. It’s not just Kodak though, so many of the big names that I grew up in photography with are gone; Kodak brings back many memories. I digress down memory lane.Anyway, the new Kodak multi-Purpose Camera Strap is well made and versatile. Their “QD” (quick detach) system is modelled after the QR (quick release) buckles used on rifle slings and is a well-tested and fielded design. The 1” width is comfortable without being obtrusive when worn around the neck. Build of the strap and its hardware appears substantial; there is plenty of stitching at the seams and at the joints holding the metal loops. The area I would consider most vulnerable, the small extension between camera and O-ring, is held both by a copious mount of Velcro and a snap closure. It took me a while before I figured out how to adjust the strap’s length, in fact it took me until I watched the tutorial video, accessed via a QR Code on the packaging. The length is quickly adjusted by releasing the QD from the side of the camera without the O-ring, then moving the buckle away from or towards the ring. There is a belt loop included to manage the excess strap after it’s been adjusted to the desired length, a thoughtful consideration.Besides the typical use of the strap hanging around the neck, I do like the underarm, crossbody configuration, with the camera attached only on one side and both ends of the strap attached at the aluminum O-ring. When I am using the camera handheld and at rest, I can gently let the camera down to take its weight off of my wrist if needed. By the way, the O-ring is cleverly designed with an inlet that accepts their QD swivel. The strap gives the impression of being well made. As the seller asserts, the machining is very clean and makes for attractive components. The O-ring and the QD components are all aluminum and I’m assuming the rest of the hardware is stainless-steel. That would include the metal loops holding the QD swivels to the strap and the small carbineer included for using a phone with the strap.I do a fair amount of mobile phone video with my iPhone held in a video cage. The cage has holes for a lanyard, and although I haven’t used this strap for the purpose of carry the phone and cage yet, I have a feeling it’s going to very handy when making videos handheld. I look forward to using it for that purpose.Keeping in mind that one may be hanging $5000+ worth of camera and lens around your neck with it, it is important that the Kodak strap is being used correctly and securely. It has more moving parts than a typical camera strap, so I would strongly suggest making yourself familiar with its components, adjustments, and attachments. As I mentioned earlier, there is a QR Code on the strap’s packaging that will take the user to a tutorial. Be clear on using the O-ring in order to avoid a painful disaster. The Kodak camera strap is a very attractive and well-made multi-purpose camera strap. It’s also comfortable and easily re-configured on the go. Other than the cautions I’ve already mentioned, I really have no criticisms of it, at least this earlier in ownership. If you find it attractive and appropriate for your needs, it’s very likely to meet your expectations.

Bought this strap last minute for a 3 week trip to Peru, and couldn't be happier with it. Much more affordable than many other quality QD straps, and the extra connectors helped to evenly distribute the weight of my Nikon Z8 and Z 100-400mm with the loop wrapped around the collar tightening nob (the other end of the strap connected to the camera L-bracket QD), as I had recently purchased the lens and forgot to buy a QD tripod foot for it. The strap provided quick access for walk-about shooting in the city and jungle, while giving me the peace of mind that my camera was securely attached and could not be easily snatched from any would-be thieves. Well-done, Kodak!
