From the only text I could fine that mentioned it was a square end mill was from a rating where it indicated a rating for square end mills, I thought it would be a square end mill. It is however a ball end mill. buyer beware

I like the extra long reach, using it to cut mortises in hardwood and it’s working very well for that.
