I had a leak in my 15 year old Kohler kitchen faucet. It was too hard to tell where the leak came from so I replaced the valve and spacer assembly together (each part is only $10-ish). The original spacer I took out did NOT look like this part at all. The original spacer had 4 opening at the bottom of the spacer not three like this new part. But both the manual and Kohler's own support videos say this is the correct part...so now I'm thinking maybe the original installation with a wrong part??? Doesn't matter I put everything back together with this new spacer and new valve (GP77548...plastic) and everything works great without any leaks.

Remember to put the vacuum breaker in correctly or else you will get no water flow. I would show a pic but it's already installed.

Ordered this piece in attempt to repair my kohler kitchen faucet but even though it said it was compatible with my faucet type, it was a newer model and I ultimately had to return the item. However, the item was in great condition when I received it and I imagine it would work on the newer models of Kohler faucets. I returned it without any issues and therefore, that's why I'm giving it 4-stars (as everything came as shown and only issue was it didn't fit).

When i found my kitchen faucet was leaking , I firstly replace the cartridge . But it was still leaking. I therefore replace the spacer below the cartridge. It works like new now.

This part repaired slow leak at rear of the hub base of our Kohler Fairfax kitchen faucet (K-12177). Tried replacing the valve (Coralais and Fairfax K-GP77548) first but leak continued. Part arrived with directions...which I did not read at first, so be sure to install with o-ring oriented up into the housing as shown in the product image...Works great, took about 10 min to swap out.

It seems like a very nice redesign. Mechanically it looks slightly different than the old model, but it's form, fit, and function to replace the old design. It's been in service about three months, no problems.
