The first one of these we purchased split into pieces when it got too cold. Now we keep the replacement inside when the temperature is below freezing just in case. It has lasted really well. The frisbee flies well and is much softer on the mouth than some of the alternative rubber products. We use it only for fetch, not as a chew toy.

My puppy loves this frisbee. It is very durable for when she likes to play tug and yet soft on her mouth when she’s catching it.

My dog bit into this toy within a 40 day time period after receiving it. Frustrating to waste 17 dollars and also have to take the risk of my dog chewing and swallowing the rubber from the toy. Kong has a 60 day guarantee and this is disappointing. My dog is 20 lbs. It's a brand new toy, it should not be able to be chewed through especially the black kong rubber toys which is supposed to be the toughest. will not be buying from this company again

Initially I wondered if I wasted my money but once I tried evaluating the problem I realized it weighs more than my dog’s previous frisbees. Once I got used to throwing it correctly I really was impressed, it flew further than any other frisbee we’ve had. It did have a crease in the center so I laid it over my truck defroster vent while I ran errands one day and by the time I got home the “lump” relaxed itself. I will definitely buy another one once this one has worn out. I don’t let him lay and gnaw on it, he has bones and other toys for that. 👍🏼🦮🦴

I've been exercising my Labrador Retriever with a Frisbee every day for seven years. Typical soft disc lasted about a year before his teeth penetrated; this one lasted over two! This rubber is a bit floppy compared to other soft ones and was a bit awkward to throw at first. No issues with my technique after the first week. We both love it. The other Kong Classic Flyer is stiff rubber - maybe a bit hard on his teeth and is heavy for twenty minutes of throwing.

I should have read all the reviews. Just got this after going through 4 or 5 of the red ones over a couple years. Black one is way too flimsy. The first problem is that it is packaged in a fold; yes, it is folded in half resulting in a permanent crease in the disc. I haven't even used it yet! I thought the black one would be more durable, maybe, but how can it fly good with a crease in it? Going back to the red one after my 2 Blue Heelers tear this one up.
