I had just moved and was not ready to bust out the sewing machine, but desperately needed to get curtains up. I decided to go full iron-on adhesive for the curtains and it has been perfect. It sticks just as well on these heavy curtains as on the light cotton ones. And even when you aren't paying attention and put the wrong side up, it isn't the worst to have to clean off your iron!

Not much can go wrong with tape but I have to say it is excellent quality and I used on curtains which you can’t notice taped was used to shorten.

It's made in China and is priced competitively with other Chinese hemming tapes. The box the tape comes in is professional and well-designed.The tape itself is neatly wound, with a backing on one side. The instructions included are clear and helpfulA friend, experienced in sewing, applied it and had praise for it.it's waterproof, meaning what it hems can be washed and dried with little risk of the tape coming unstuck.

It seemed to work fine, but the day after I used it, it losts its hold. I had to wind up sewing the hem in.

So often when I get pajamas, the bottoms are too long. Enter this cool hemming tape! I was able to hem, seriously 4 inches (why do they make these things so long??). I'm not gonna say it's easy, cause it's not really. First you have to figure out how much needs to be hemmed. Then pin it or do whatever you want to make sure you know where to hem it to. You'll need to turn the garment inside out and then flip the bottom of the pant, skirt etc to expose the inside of the bottom hem (I hope that makes sense?). Take the tape adhesive side down (here's where it needs improvement - 1st, the instructions say to "remove the scotch tape from the outside of the film roll". I thought that meant the adhesive, but no, there IS NO scotch tape. CONFUSING. 2nd, how about making the adhesive side or the non-adhesive side another color so you can actually SEE where the adhesive is. I thought I had it right one of the 4 times I hemmed and nope - the adhesive stuck to the iron. - Thanks.) ....continued..... and put the iron on the non-adhesive side for 5 seconds and peel off the backing. Then flip the hem back over like you're going to tape the hem up and iron the other side for about 15 seconds. Wallah! Now do it to the other side of the hem. And if it's pants, 2 more times - 1 for each side.$5 is a great price for this stuff. It takes time but it DOES work. But like I said, it needs some improvement - directions and knowing which side is the adhesive side. Another option would to simply print on one of the sides which side is which.I DO recommend this stuff. It's worth getting. Oh, and know that the instructions also say that washing will decrease the stickiness. This may be only temporary or if it actually DOES come apart, you may need to re-hem.

This no-sew tape caught my attention because it said stretchy fabric will remain stretchy afterwards. I've tried other brands and they were not stretchy afterwards. I'm a fat person so most of my clothes are stretchy for better fit and comfort. I followed the instructions and it worked out very well. I serged the edges of the pants first before folding it in with the no-sew tape. The product is true with this performance feature; fabric is still stretchy after ironing the tape in. I will update how it holds up over time, but for now, I'm loving this product and plan to purchase more.
