We have a Cato toilet in a manufactured home. The seal on our old Cato flapper came off, which caused a leak from the toilet tank to the bowl. I searched for a compatible flapper and found this one, which is an exact replica of what we had. My husband installed it in two minutes and it fixed the leak as soon as it went in. I'm not sure how long it will last, or how old the other flapper was because we just moved into our house a couple of weeks ago. For now, we are satisfied. It is not easy to find parts for Cato toilets, so put this flapper on your saved list for the future!

This flapper worked perfectly for our toilet we purchased from Menards a year and a half ago. No other aftermarket flapper fit and sealed at all. Luckily the word/letters CATO were on the flapper that came with the original toilet. It’s a hard plastic shell with a rubber seal, and the part the hooks into the flush lever is what broke on the original one. Just happy it was the right one and actually cheaper than the aftermarket ones at Menards, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware.

It’s hard to find flappers for my Cato toilet. The seal breaks down every few months so plan on buying several to get through the year
