These don't work for my coloring pencils. Not sure which medium these were made for.

I love that you get so many in this set. I also love that there's a black, spongy, soft end and a firmer white end for double the effects. Best of all is the value!I was using these for unintended purposes, so I can't complain that they wouldn't quite work for me as I'd hoped in that off-spec application. But I can't argue with the good value of this product. If I were a pencil or charcoal artist, I would be thrilled with these![Kosiz 6 Pcs Blending Sponge Pen Double Headed Washable Rubbing Sponge Brush Sketch Wipe Reusable Blending Stump Drawing Art Blenders for School Student Artist Highlight Shadow Detail Correcting Tool B0D475RXCP]

Also it snapped in two when l was trying to use it. I did not see any change with the large black end, and as l stated the white end lifted off more color than it blended.Waste of money, not very durable.

I love the fact that it has a hard side, and then a softer side!

If I ever use stumps, I typically use the regular paper ones. I decided to give these a try. The more I used them, the more I liked them.First, I'm not sure I would need all six. I understand they provide different sizes but the variations of size is pretty close. Anyway, here's the important part: each stump has two ends; a black one and a white one. The black side is quite soft and the white side is hard. They are made from different material. The blending result is different based on which end you use.I have attached a photo showing this. The rectangle blocks (charcoal, graphite, and special Conte and CarbOthello pencils were blended with both sides of the stump: the top half of each rectangle is blended with the hard (white) end, while the bottom half is blended with the soft (black) end. You can see the difference in texture and results. They are visibility different.I also blended some spheres, but only with the black/soft side. The top spheres were drawn with charcoal (hard, medium, and soft), while the bottom spheres were drawn with graphite (HB, B, and 4B). Of course, the softer the medium, the smoother the blending. However, I really think those stumps did a very nice job.It is again some art tool that I never thought of having, but once I used it I liked and I can see many applications for.I wonder how long will they last though since I haven't used them for that long.

I'm using these to blend my Neo-Colors II... Depending on the paper weight I use, I do have to be careful about the pressure... but I like them as I can either wet the tips or wet the medium I'm using

I really like these blenders. But be aware, if you normally use tissue or something similar to blend, these do not remove near as much graphite as other methods of blending. It took me a while to adjust. Once you do, they’re great!!
