One of my tortoises seems to have a dry skin area. They have access to everything they need but she is weird and luckily she is the out going one so I could get some of this on her head. She seems to enjoy it or it may make her feel better because after 4 days she is no longer fighting me. Her dry skin spot looks less dry too.

I got this balm for my turtle whose shell seems to be getting dry even though we have a mister that is run on a timer. This may be from the heater drying out the air inside our home. I thought this balm may be a good solution for my turtle and help him/her feel more comfortable. It does seem to make the shell look my hydrated and takes away the dry look. I can’t say if it is making my turtle feel more comfortable or not, but at least I think it is soothing and protecting the shell from dryness. And I am really glad to have found a product specifically for reptiles and their special skin and shell care needs.
