They are thin, but durable. They offer adequate protection when shipping small items. The adhesive seal on them is not very strong, and I always prefer to reinforce with tape for additional security.

Pro - They are a decent size for what we need and have enough padding / space for books and magazines.Mid - I measured the Outer Dimensions and got roughly 11.5 x 15 inches, the label says #5 10.5"X16" and the listing shows 10.5" x 15". Sizing confusion.Cons - I was missing 8 of 100 and a lot of edges were already torn at the lip / flap edge - so the durability might be lacking in some spots of the envelopes. The ones with tears should not effect us too bad because we use extra tape anyways.

There is always a need for one of these mailer envelopes. It is also something we forget to buy. These are great for many things and the price was very reasonable.

I purchased the shipping packages for the purpose of shipping books. The envelopes are sturdy, have a film of bubbles inside to protect the contents during shipping and seal easily. I purchased a size that holds one book perfectly. As this is my first book many want an autographed copy and that is the purpose for using the packaging. Those that only want the book purchase it from Amazon direct.
