Easy to assemble. Square your saw, tighten up the rails, then cut your initial cut through (in the right direction). Works great. In the pictures I'm cutting 15-degree angles in a bunch of boards, they came out good. Can't believe I didn't know about this until recently, would have used it so much over the years.

Used this to cut vinyl flooring. I was able to make nice straight cuts. The only problem was I was using a 5 1/2 in circular saw so the cut wasn’t deep enough so You had to put a piece of scrap beneath it. Just be aware it requires assembly.

Seller was very responsive. Looking forward to using in the future. I had issues cutting a straight initial cut on the jig itself, but will try again. May have been user error. Great customer service!

It is easy to turn a circular saw into a miter saw by using this platform. I think it covers at least 80 percent of the miter saw functionalities and it covers all my needs already. The cut is easy and accurate. And the circular saw can be used as itself at any time. It also saves a lot of space for storage. I love it very much and highly recommend it to anyone who already has a circular saw.

The product was easy to assemble, well-written instructions and upon inspection seemed to be well designed. One upgrade is the original depth of cut for creating the kerf line might need to be over 2" to ensure the corner is severed. I found the depth of cut required was about 2 1/4" for my saw. I knew I may be pushing the product to an upper limit using a 2 X 4 X 8 pine board. The product worked best and easiest with smaller stock (1/2" to 3/4"). It took me a bit bit to get used to the product. I would suggest you wax the metal track to ensure the metal on metal fraction is reduced. The material support wings worked well to support the 8 foot piece but the whole cross cut station tended to rise at the front due to the board weight. I corrected this issue by placing shims at the back of the product to prevent this tipping and provide a solid cutting base. One other item perhaps not mentioned is use one saw blade. I decided to switch saw blades and on first use the blade did not match the existing kerf exactly and popped out a small bit of sure cut material. The material hold down clamps work excellently for smaller stock but strain to hold a 2" x 4" piece. The adjustable fence is effectively useless for larger stack, but can see how it could be beneficial for smaller stock. I pushed the product to emulate a miter saw function which it is not designed. It is a cost effective alternative for small stock options but larger stock options likely need a more robust and capable equipment like a miter saw.

Got it when it was discounted so knowing the KREG brand I figure this would be just as good as the other KREG products and it certainly is.It was very very easy to assemble due to the clearly written instructions and diagrams. All the parts are packed well in the box and the finish of each part was excellent.I needed it cause I already have a miter saw but its big and noisy and bulky and I have more tendency to using my circular saw for my DIY projects so this was just perfect. It is decent weight and made of combination of plastic and the wood parts are I think they call it composite or MDF like material but very well finished and has all predrilled holes as needed.Once I finish assembly and did the kerf line cut, I tried it out and it works fine. The only thing is to make sure you have it secure when in use. So I used my wood clamps to hold it down when I made my cuts. Works fine for my needs for 90 degree cuts and 45 degree cuts.I'm glad I got this and its handy to bring out and put away easy.

A long way towards a chopsaw without the expense.I bought this because I don't have a miter saw for now. I do have a table saw, but the way my shop is configured for now, I can't easily use it for 8 foot pieces. I can cut wood to exact lengths with this on a work table without issue. In a recent job, I used it to easily cut down longer pieces into lengths I could use on my table saw. I needed to cut at angles for this project, and the table saw gave me the precision I needed. This works really well, is small, sets up in an instant, and makes it easy to accurately cut longer beams. It has features for cutting at an angle, but I use it for 990 degree cuts only.

While there are many tutorials for how to make a similar crosscut jig, at ~$30, this does the trick with little setup. It has the potential to replace both a table saw and a miter saw, as long as you don’t work with large stock. The rails are just high enough to slide 2-by boards underneath flat on their faces. This is a basic limitation of small circular saws, but something to consider. Also, it needs to be secured before making any cuts. Clamps can be used as long as they don’t get in the way. There are also holes for screws, if you need something semi-permanent.It was fairly straightforward to assemble. I did take some extra time ensuring everything is square. I was able to make some very thin cuts and they were very clean with no tear out. Any saw will be fine, though I do recommend getting a high quality blade.
