Love Kreg and all their products. However, be prepared for missing screws. Not on account of Kreg but Amazon themselves. When my package arrived, the box of screws had burst open and I was missing 4 of 125 screws.

Heads of Kreg screws are exactly right size to fit the pocket holes created by Kreg jig. You can use other 2.5” screws but these ones will hold better than standard deck screws.

What else would you expect from Kreg.I’ve tried using Jerry rigged screws with small washers to save a few bucks but buying these screws was less hassle and they provide the secure joint fastening method.

I've used pocket hole screws before, these worked as expected. I have no idea if they are as corrosion resistant as they claim, time will tell I guess.

The product is great. The screws actually screw into the timber and hold better than others .if you doing pocket screw it certainly better to buy and use Kreg pocket screws.

Needed these for an outdoor storage chest I built. Used them to secure the 2 x 4 frame. They drive in smoothly and grip well. Be sure to use clamps to square up your joints and maintain clean alignment. A little pricier than typical 2.5" deck screws, but definitely not cost prohibitive.

They work great and I’ve never broken one. I use them for a building outside window trims.They are expensive so I use them in very limited applications.
