The material on these is great, holds up well to some light scratching and pulling. Keeps liquid from seeping through, but the edging material will wick a bit. They wash well and don't pill like some of the other pads we have tried in the past.

My medium sized dog (47lb) is bigger than one of these mats. Did a water test to see how waterproof it was and it soaked in partially after it pooled, but beaded off in other spots. Will test over a longer period of time in my car as a backup under my current car cover in her regular spot and on my couch that she likes

I am not paid for these reviews.These Kritter Planet Waterproof, Washable Pet Couch Covers are perfectly well made and very functional. I would suggest that the smaller size is really too small to be very useful for my purposes, and I wish I had ordered the larger. You might want to think about that when you order. These are not really "blankets" either, but more like pads to keep soil off your furniture. I do recommend them.

In some ways these are better than the disposable puppy pads. I hated using the disposable pads as they moved easily and shifted out of place. These reusable ones have more weight to them so they stay in place. They also just look better around the house compared to the white with blue plastic of the disposable pads. These basically just look like a blanket laying around. Unfortunately they don't seem super absorbent. I used them in the carrier to take my cat to the vet and he dribbled a little bit of pee and it kinda sat on top of the fabric and rolled around rather than quickly absorbing into the mat. If it had been a lot of urine I don't know how it would have been. Overall I still think it's a decent buy as they are more eco-friendly, more economical, and look nicer. Another thing to note: the pictures are a little misleading as they show large breed dogs on these pads. Just make sure you're paying attention to what size you're getting, so you're not disappointed. I got the 16x24 inch pads and they were accurately sized, the photos are just not representative of the actual size.

Purchased to put on my car seat when I have my borrowed dog! Works great to keep seat cleaned from wet puppy feet !

These blanket style potty pads come nicely packaged. The fabric is soft, with a little sheen to it, and drapes nicely. It is soft but not furry, so I chose to try these because my dog is a super-shedder, and I'm hoping it will be easier to clean the hair off compared to the more felt-like washable potty pads we have now. She is a senior dog, and prone to some minor "leaks" these days, so we keep liners/ pads everywhere to make my laundry-life easier!The down side to the soft reversible fabric to me, is that it doesn't have the non-slip backing some others do, so it definitely slips around and doesn't stay put - every time she turns over it shifts. I think I should have just ordered the larger one; the small size fits in the center of her bolster bed like our other pads, it just doesn't stay there, but with the larger size it would have draped over the sides and maybe it wouldn't have been an issue.It is nicely quilted, and well made/ seamed, seems like a high quality product that should hold up well in the wash (I haven't tossed it in the washer yet, if I find out later that it doesn't meet my expectations for durability, I'll update.)Overall, if you are looking for an upgrade from the strictly utilitarian types of potty pads commonly available, more of a blanket that looks nice in the family room but still offers protection from those little accidents, this is a very nice option!

This is nothing more than a very thin, flimsy piece of fabric much like a cheap placemat. Im not sure how this could be used for a dog in any manner. It is too thin to be absorbent, its too thin to stay in place as a dog jumps on and off it if you used it on a couch. It’s just a big no.
