Plus points - they look very smart and do the job.Less favourable points - very noisy when used and the part of cylinder which holds salt and pepper as shown not very big.

It has a light to show you what you're covering with salt/pepper and the grinder works perfectly. No glitches. We've had it for our 2nd month now.

For a son-in-law that likes anything electric/electronic, this hit the spot. Dispenses the contents cleanly and easily with no fuss or mess. A++++++++

The Seller was very nice to offer me a full refund, after my review. This I appreciated very much. I didn't even have to ask for one. I will keep the set hoping for the best.I found if I put no more then quarter load in, as well as shake then when operating the grinder they are little more usable.Bought the package deal with salt and pepper thinking I'd size them. Nice looking, fit hand well.Pepper not so bad, salt terrible. Salt stalls the motor completely, need to invert and bang with hand or light rubber mallet to free the cutters/motor. The coarseness wing nut under base tightens by it self, causing you to check each use. Other problem I encountered was top button on both shackers can and will get wedged into the down portion. Both problems remove the one hand operation greatly. Oh yes followed the do not over fill caution by 80% for best results.Reason for the 3 stars, as for durability I believe motor will burn out/stop long before they even get scuffed. Will keep hope for the best, they look great on the table (not with guests as you have to work on freeing the motor for them, 2x now) or beside stove.I like the idea, the box way fancy (wouldn't gift though), the little stainless (I believe) spoon is great. My humble opinionStill would not buy again though. Good seller response.

I’ve owned these grinders for 4 months now & haven’t had any issues so far! To this date, I am still using the batteries that were included with the product & cook almost everyday using the grinders.Essentially, these grinders are super simple to use. There are instructions included in the box on how to set the grinders up, though they’re not necessarily needed. Just about two minutes of looking at the grinders & common sense, it becomes self explanatory on how to set them up. They come with a cap to cover the bottom when they’re not in use along with a light which activates when the grinder is in use, which has proved useful. The grinders maintain a solid overall build. With a nice finish, these grinders feel very sturdy. I’ve dropped one of the grinders at least two times from a height of approximately 3 ft & it has been able to hold itself fairly well. The overall style of the grinders make them a perfect choice for fitting in with any type of kitchen! The grinders are also adjustable, allowing you to set the grinder to become more coarse or more fine.Within my 4 months of owning these grinders, the only complaints I have are related to the motor & the adjustment settings. The motor “could” be a little bit stronger, but there’s not much to complain about if you’re patient. The adjustment knobs are easily adjusted, though you cannot really know how far you’ve adjusted them to become more coarse/fine until you hit the limit on either end. Apart from that, this was one of the better investments I’ve made for my kitchen. If you know anyone who loves to cook, this would be the perfect gift for them. It’ll make their kitchen stand out & look more “fancy”. The electric grinder is also useful for any home chefs who have issues & cannot effectively use a manual twist grinder.Overall, if you’re a home cook or you know someone who loves to cook, this is a must have product!

Over 30 years ago in England, my Mom bought a set of electric salt/pepper grinders similar to these ones. Recently, the clear acrylic part of the old salt grinder cracked and eventually disintegrated. We had so loved the old set, that I went on Amazon to find a new one.I discovered KSL set and was impressed by the improvements that had been made to the design. The main housing of the grinders is metal, not plastic. Access to the battery compartment is separated at the top of the device and there are guiding marks for opening and locking. Access to the spice compartment lower down has similar guiding markers. Our old set did not have these markings which make opening and locking the grinders much easier and secure. Thus far, the new KSL grinders work very efficiently. The size of the grind can easily be adjusted. Hopefully they last 30+ years as well!

My hands get tired cracking peppercorns with a manual pepper mill, and after my sister raved about the set I bought for her birthday, I decided to spluge and get one for myself. It comes in a lovely box with a nice scoop to make filling your peppercorns and sea salt easy. Both work great, are easy to use, and even come with batteries. All you need is peppercorns and sea salt and you're all set.

I like freshly ground pepper. I have gone through many different mills over the past few decades, none of them have lasted. I thought I would like the old-fashioned hand-cranked type, and the one I have (Kuhn Rikon Epicurean Classic) is fantastic, fine to coarse-cracked, BUT I have a few favorite recipes that call for LOTS of freshly ground pepper, and my older wrists and hands just can’t take the strain. So I researched and found this one, rated pretty good by Cook’s Illustrated, and so far, seems to do the job well. I bought the two pack, so that I can use the other for grinding spices. Pretty good deal, and my joints are happy. I really like that there is a cap on the bottom to keep stray peppers contained. The boxed set is definitely gift-worthy. I’ll still use my Kuhn Rikon for small jobs, but I am glad to have an alternative for my very peppery dishes.

No phone support number offered . Two little plastic tabs where sitting on the base when opened ( salt holder) where it connects to stainless (power motor/with batteries side). Tech support is Facebook messenger that appears to be auto response. I asked a question prior to writing this review and still awaiting response 15 min and counting !! . I had a very expensive (Peugeot) electric salt and pepper grinder which I paid about 4 times what I paid for this KSL Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder. They both have a similar , stylish look, and they both dispense S&P with ease and user control of grind and flow, they both have lighting so you can see how much you are sprinkling on your food. Where the KSL Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder really shines, in comparison, is on how easy it is to replace batteries, add S&P and in general maintenance compared to the Peugeot.Nothing against Peugeot which makes many fine products and has good customer service as well but their grinder's design seems to have serious flaws that make maintenance much more difficult.I felt highlighting the difference in my experience with my last S&P Grinder compared to the KSL Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder was the best way to share and justify my rating for this product. and what a good value it is (assuming it stand the test of time and is still running about 4 years down the road which is when my last grinder died, -my guess is due to a burned out motor).
