Product seems to be like the OEM, BUT it will not allow the filter housing to screw on all the way. The threads are different. Would not work for my refrigerator.

This unit is sold as Filter housing 240434301. It is not. The thread is round while the original thread is square.

Perfect fit in my fridge. Make sure you screw it in all the way until it bottoms out or it will leak.i think the wrench would make this easier. My old one froze and cracked because I stored it in my unheated garage and didn’t think to empty the water out. Learn from my mistake and drain your lines (at the valve at the bottom of the fridge) and empty your filter housing if you’re going to store it in the cold.

This product hookups didn't match our refrig as it showed. We returned it but NO REFUND !!!!
