First off, go buy a nut that fits the tapered head bolt and weld it in place. Shoot a little paint over that so it doesn't rust.I did not need the spacer shim plate to clear the exhaust pipe.I wish it had the dome washers that come with the rock hard plate, so I'll probably order those just for this. The rock hard plate will not work with exhaust spacers. This plate also offers more coverage, and seems to have better front mounts. I really recommend this plate. I took off one star for making me go find a nut and welding it on myself. They really should have included that with it.Easy to install

Good Quality, the oil drain cover was not thread, same as the other reviewers but it is not a big issue, mounted fine, used the instructions for the smittybuilt one from online, these were almost unreadable but not a difficult install.

Just as posted above. Seems to be the same quality as the smittybilt skid plate. Directions I received were not great and pictures were so grainy you couldn’t really make out what they were trying to show you. Also the hole for the oil plate cover was not tapped. I still have to fix that. But for the price this is totally worth it.

This skid plate is exactly like the Smittybilt engine/trans skid. This is 3/16 inch steel and it bolted right on. Was able to use with oem transfer case skid. Did have to modify oil drain pan hole as it was missing a nut on the inside to thread the countersink bolt into.
