It looked great but was not very secure. it kept falling off my head. eventually had to secure with pins which where not included. Worked well for my dress-up party.

I got this for my teenage daughter who will be going to her first Renaissance Fair this summer. The headband piece of this headscarf has four cotton twill ties on each of the corners. The fabric has a nice feel and a nice drape to it. If it isn't all linen (description does say linen & cotton), it gives a good impression of being all linen. The one thing we would have liked to see or know how to do is connect the two pieces. The one picture on the site shows the model connecting the two pieces with bobby pins. Not so authentic, so we think. Will probably put a few stitches in to hold the two pieces together. Will also likely stitch up the edges making soft folds in the bottom so the head covering looks more Renaissance-y instead of nun-like. This headscarf is of very nice quality though and does allow for customization if so desired.
