Your cart is empty.The Kupo 3.5" Long 5/8" Baby Stud w/ 3/8"-16M holds a small light monitor or can be used to mount anything that has a 3/8"-16 female thread. It can be used with a grip head on its own. It can be used with a grip head and grip arm combination for mounting options almost anywhere. It can be inserted into a clamp with the stud end for added flexibility. The stud end has a textured surface that resists twisting.

I own several Kupo grip items and have generally been pleased with them. Their Baby Boom Arm is great for instance. I was surprised to find this baby pin made from Aluminum and not steel. Not sure how long it will hold up, but for limited use it will probably be ok. If this was steel it would have been a 5 star product.

I have discovered a need for slightly longer baby pins for a certain light set up in my photo studio. When I realized that the standard 5 1/2" Kupo Baby Pins had threaded and tapped holes in their ends, I bought two of these to use as extensions. When screwed together with the standard pin, they result in a 9" long double ended baby pin, and the perfect length for my need.

I wonder how many of us buyers are lockpickers and are using these in vise setups. Great little stud! It’s threaded female 1/4-20 on the opposite end of the male thread, which is just a pinned in place set screw.

I have a lot of Kupo grip gear, and think they are a great alternative to more expensive brands like Avenger and Matthews. Their fit and finish seems to be on par with the other brands, and their prices are consistently lower.
