To attach photographic lighting to shelves, I usually use an Impact Super Clamp. Occasionally I run into a shelf that is a bit thicker than the Super Clamp can handle. This Kupo Super Viser Clamp is the perfect solution. This version jaw's expand up to 4 inches. I believe Kupo has other versions where the jaws expand even wider. It has a permanently welded baby pin on top. Kupo has other versions with a removable pin. The total length is about 9 ¼ inches. Once again, Kupo has other versions that are even longer. Nice, heavy metal build that should last a lifetime. The jaws are V shaped so they will attach to a pole instead of a shelf if needed. I've actually mounted a web cam on this clamp using an Adapter Convert with 1/4" Screw making this clamp quite versatile. I would recommend the Kupo Super Viser Clamp and would buy it again.
