I purchased another Pride nutcracker for a gift, but the quality of this one is ten times better for about the same price—I just wish I had seen this one first. It did arrive after Christmas, but the person collects nutcrackers so I will just tuck this one away until next year. At first, I thought that the tree was missing one of its jewels, but after reviewing the picture, that is the way it’s supposed to look. It came in a sturdy box, which was a good thing because Amazon shipped it in an envelope instead of a box. I don’t know how it managed to arrive in one piece, but the box wasn’t even dented. Love it, vibrant coloring, a great purchase and I think it’s a great gift.
