Star is quite big and looks magnificent. Unfortunately it wasn't required because the tree I ended up buying was fiber optic and already had a light-up star attached to it. Would definitely recommend due to the good quality and beauty.

This Kurt Adler tree topper star is beautiful and sparkles with a multitude of changing rainbow colors. A lot of bang for your buck. I highly recommend.

This is the second time we have bought this exact tree star because it is the prettiest tree topper we've ever had. Unfortunately, the first one only lasted about 6 years, so I'm not sure if that's a good run or not. Seems like you wouldn't need to replace it for at least 10 years.

I love this colorful star! Second purchase for our tree and it illuminates the room. The colors change and it’s soothing to watch on a cold night. Well constructed and simply beautiful. Gives any tree a vintage flair, kind of takes me back to when I was a kid.

Buena calidad e intensidad de la luz, sólo que en mo caso llegó sin base para la punta del árbol, es decir viene sólo la estrella no trae el "conito" para insertarla a la punta.

Hermosa estrella, ya no me dio tiempo de ponerla en estas fiestas pero llego empacada correctamente en una caja de Amazon, la estrella es un poco más pequeña de lo que me imagine pero es tal cual en la publicación enciende luces random por cada pico de modo “casi” iridiscenciente muy bonita y moderna comparada a lo que se ve actualmente en este tipo de adornos, empacada en modo “try me” que te permite ver cómo funciona sin necesidad de abrir la caja y conectarla a la luz

Se ve muy bien cuando la enciendes solo le falta una base para colocarla al árbol ya que es algo complicado colocarla en la punta del árbol.

This is a tall tree topper made even taller by an unnecessarily long mounting bracket. This made it hard to attach to our tree since we have 7.5' ceilings. It is beautiful when it is lit. The colors are very nice. The photos don't do it justice.So, why am I giving it one star? Because the beauty doesn't last. I purchased it in 2016 for Christmas of that year. At the end of the season it was carefully packed away. This year (2017) we put it on the tree and it quit working after less than a week. One year is too short a lifespan for a $20 tree topper.

Just received this tree topper yesterday and immediately put it on our tree. It is really pretty with constantly changing colors. The colors aresoft and subdued, not brash and loud. Very pretty and very well made. It is very sturdy and fits securely on the top of our tree. The top ofour tree fits into the star. We have an artificial tree. I am wondering, however, if you had a real fir tree, if the star might not be a little too heavy, asthe star is quite heavy and sturdy. The only negative is that it is a little big for our tree; but that is certainly not the fault of the manufacturer. Ourlittle artificial tree is less than 5' tall. I can only imagine how beautiful it would look on a big full tree.I am giving this 5 stars because it truly is beautiful. I love the constantly changing lights. I hope we will have it for years. Very pleased with it!

In the end we liked this star, however, the picture implies the star has color to it even when not lighted. This is not the case. It is just clear plastic. The internal lights are in a small ring at the center of the star. When lighted, it looks very nice -- particularly in a dimly lit room -- but it does not look like the picture. We bought it a week before xmas and it grew on us by the big day. I've added a photo showing what it looks like lit up on the tree in a normally lit room during the day.Also, it would be nice to have a power cord longer than 30". A longer cord would allow you to put the power transformer at the base of the tree. We had a flocked tree this year, so it took awhile to hide the black transformer so you couldn't see it on the tree.
