I recently installed pocket door hardware, and I’m really impressed with the quality and durability. The hardware feels solid and well-made, and once installed, it works flawlessly for our pocket doors. The online installation instructions were clear and easy to follow, though the process did require some handyman skills. This was actually my first time using a wood chisel, which was necessary for a few adjustments. Keep in mind, some of the tools required aren’t typical household items, so you might need to pick up a few extras. I particularly like the feature that allows you to lock and unlock the doors from the outside, which is a nice touch for convenience. Overall, a great product that functions as expected!

Coordinates well with other door knobs but the area to pull and push the door is shallow and the pop out used to pull the door when it's all the way in the pocket is awkward.

I am thrilled with this pocket door lock! It was simple to install and works like a charm. The sleek design blends seamlessly with my door, and the added security it provides is excellent. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable pocket door lock.

Don’t get this one. The overall construction is sturdy and the coloring is good however, since the door pull is spring loaded when the door is closed and in the lock position sometimes the “lock” has gotten stuck (really it’s because the spring loaded pull sprung out while locked and it doesn’t release) the door has to be wiggled and locked and unlocked to try to catch the pull back before we can get out!!!! We had a guest get locked in the bathroom 🤦🏽♀️ Also there is it much to grab onto when trying to lock the door it hurts the fingers to try to get it turned. Same for when pulling the door the tiny dome size piece you pull isn’t comfortable or sturdy for a solid core pocket door.

We ordered this in black. We liked the square look and were limited by other options for pocket doors. There’s really not of options to choose from in matte black for pocket doors that also locks. The lock is nice looking but the quality is mid-grade at best, e.g.) The lock doesn’t turn super smooth and the pull-out mechanism to open the door when it’s completely shut is also clunky and sticks...often have to press it in more than once for it to pop out.Our biggest issue is with the lock NOT actually locking. We are using a professional contractor and the instructions are extremely poor and the locking mechanism is completely NOT intuitive. Basically a bolt extends out into the faceplate when turned, but there’s no where for it to catch and lock to the faceplate on the wall. See the photo. I called Kwikset for support and after speaking with 2 people, one of which was extremely rude, neither of them could explain how this lock catches on the face plate. THEY TOLD ME TO GOOGLE IT!!! Really?!? I’m a mechanical engineer and I’m using a Professional GC for the install, who has installed hundreds of locks before, and he has never seen one with this locking mechanism.Hopefully I just got a lemon, but either way, I don’t plan on ever buying a Kwikset device again and would encourage those looking at this to pick another design AND another brand with customer service who actually cares to help...not “just google it” (which I obviously did and there’s not much out there on this design)If Kwikset is able to support, I’ll revise my review...but I’m not holding my breath and will likely have to replace the entire lock with something that actually works as intended.

Great looking lock and a good price, but not practical at all. The lock does not work right because the latch doesn’t stay closed and flush. It’s also extremely hard to pull open and close because there really no where to pull from, especially on a heavy solid wood door. Super disappointed and will have to eventually find another lock to replace it.

Very nice piece. Looks great and so much more elegant than the ones where the door has to be cut away. I cannot comment on the installation part because I did not do it, but the fellow who did expressed no problem with it
