I replaced my worn out stock type on an 87 G Body these rear shocks and felt a noticeable difference. Quicker rebound and smoother ride on rough roads. Really impressed and worth the slightly higher price than OEM type replacements. Came with all the new lower hardware including a new stud, but you will need to reuse your upper bolts and nuts.

Def worth the buy. My old shocks would not come back up. So was worth the buy. Put all 4 kyb and made my ride more firm without feeling like a boat.

My favorite shock. A bit firm on the bumps but smooth in the road. Put them every car I own. Vette, El Camino, Blazer. Perfect ride on every car.

Very nice ride in the rear of an 87 el camino. Firm and sporty feel without being too stiff. I was going to go with Bilstein at some point but these really fill the bill.

I installed recommended KYB shocks on the front and the rear of my 1985 El Camino replacing the leaking not that old air shocks on the rear and basic stock replacement type shocks on the front. I did add an Air Lift bag kit #60733 1000 in the rear coils which was simple to install and around $90. Wasn't needed but nice to have to balance things out and by some slim chance I would carry something heavy in the box. Also installed a set of 4 moog coils to replace originals. Ride was improved greatly and felt more in tune with the road. Very pleased with the performance and improved handeling of the El camino. I have heard nothing but good info. about KYB shocks online and in auto magazines.

These KYB shock absorbers perform just as advertised. They are a nice addition to my Cutlass and definitely improve handling.

Purchased for my 1978 Chevy Malibu, replacing not worn twin tube shocks. Still, these shocks make a huge difference in handling and smoothness. Very soft and smooth ride, yet, turning into corners are so much more positive it is like a totally different car. If replacing worn shocks, these are great. If upgrading from twin tube shocks, THESE ARE GREAT!
