Luckily the motor works and it was easy to swap in, i noticed higher RPM from the get go. however the motor packaging was ripped up and there were visible scuffs and signs of wear on the motor. i paid for new and expected new, so 3 stars

The Kyosho 2.4 GHz Mini-Z X-Speed V Motor has been a game-changer for my Mini-Z MA-020 RC car. As someone passionate about RC racing, finding ways to tweak and improve my car's performance is a big part of the fun. And let me tell you, this motor has blown me away.When I first swapped out the stock motor for the X-Speed V, I couldn't believe the difference it made. Suddenly, my Mini-Z was flying around the track like never before. The acceleration was insane, and the top speed had me grinning from ear to ear. It felt like I was driving a whole new car.But the X-Speed V Motor is not just about speed. Itse responsiveness and control are just as impressive. Whether navigating tight corners or pushing for a straightaway, the motor delivers power smoothly and precisely, giving me the confidence to push my limits on the track.Installation was a breeze, too. I'm no expert in tinkering with RC cars, but even I could swap out the motor in no time. It was just a matter of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one – no soldering or complicated instructions required. Within minutes, I was back on the track, putting the X-Speed V Motor through its paces.And let me tell you, this motor can take a beating . Since installing the X-Speed V, I've put my Mini-Z through intense raceV, and it hasn't missed a beat. It's built tough and feels like it can handle whatever I throw at it— which is saying something, considering how hard I push my cars on the track.But the best part is the feeling I get behind the wheel of my Mini-Z with the X-Speed V Motor. This upgraded Mini-Z motor offers a nice little boost in performance for your Mini-Z vechicles. Installation was pretty easy. You remove the batteries and undo a few screws, unscrew the motor from the vehicle eletronics and gently pull it out. You replace the spur gear on the new motor and then slip it back in... then reconnect the wires and done.Overall it gives my MA-020 AWD drift car a nice bump in performance, which is extra nice if you drive/drift on carpet. The motor runs about the same temperature as the stock motor, and doesn't seem to use batteries any quicker that I can tell.If you need a replacement motor or just want a little more performance, check this X-Speed V motor out, from Kyosho!

Easily replaces the stock motor. I also replaced spur and pinion gears and also the type of batteries I use at the same time so the improvement in performance I saw could be any, all, or a combination of these. But there was a definite improvement.

This Koyosho motor is pretty fast with a 8 tooth pinion, I have this motor in a mr03 and you can feel the difference !
