Hot Racing Suspension Travel Limit Straps are functional suspension limit straps that limit suspension travel on all types of off-road R/C vehicles, including rock crawlers and racers. Limit straps are used to take stress off shocks and to control suspension extension. For example, when crawling up or descending steep grades, straps tied to the center of an axle are useful to limit the suspension from unloading and the vehicle from rolling, all while keeping suspension articulation intact.

The description says rated for 10,000lbs even the metal end says 10,000 but the tag attached to the strap says rated to 8,000lbs....It also shorter then add says by 10mm I know it will stretch up to an inch but come on.

Perfect size for what I need and the bracket that is on them is really tuff stuff un drillable you have to grind it if you want the hole bigger .good price good quality. It helps protect my expensive shocks from over extension

Threw these on my side by side after purchasing new shocks. Be mindful of the lengths and make sure you get the correct length for your setup. Work good even when covered in mud and water.

I used these limit straps, along with some slightly longer bolts and extra spacers on my 1970 VW Beetle Baja. They're the perfect length to fit along side KYB KG5529 Gas-a-Just Shocks in the stock rear shock mounting locations, and keeps the rear end off the hard lower travel stops.
