It has excellent resistance to chemicals, but exhibits lower thermal resistance than other materials. It is a softer material than nylon or polypropylene and much softer than Kynar.

Use to put 90-degree turn on drinking tube attached to my bladder in my backpack to prevent kinking. Fits snugy in standard 1/4" id tubing. No need for clamps.

I repair small engines and usually install a fuel shut off valve. Sometimes there is not enough room and these elbows make the job much easier

I have a platypus bladder and put a sawyer filter in-line. I wanted a couple 90deg elbows to make the routing cleaner and prevent the hose pinching (which can happen when overstuffing a backpack) and these did the trick. The elbows fit both platypus and camelbak hoses (I have both). I ended up choosing this exact model based on them being food safe and other good reviews for strength as a broken elbow could mean being miles away from a water source. So far so good!

very durable using to connect vacuum break on ebb and flow system. product was very tough had to drill hole in 1 1/2 plastic pipe cap and force one end in under size hole to make leak proof air connect. built 5 of these devices and did not break any. would reorder them again.
