Equipped with a thermometer and a hygrometer, the clock also assesses and relates temperature and humidity levels to help users protect seedlings from frost, avoid over-watering finicky plants, and take precautions against an icy walkway. Surrounded by a sleek pewter-painted plastic frame, the clock face features black 1-1/6-inch-high numbers for easy visibility. Elegant, black metal hands tick off the hours and minutes. For temperature and humidity readings, the clock face displays two small analog gauges. The hygrometer gauge measures from 1 to 99% relative humidity, while the temperature gauge gives readings for temperatures from -10 to +130°Fahrenheit, or -30 to +60°Celsius. To ensure accurate readings, hang the clock in a dry area out of direct sunlight. This accurate quartz time clock requires the separate purchase of one AA battery for operation. A one-year limited warranty covers this item. The clock measures 18 inches wide by 2-1/4 inches deep by 18 inches high and weighs near 5 pounds upon shipping.

I got this AcuRite thermometer and hygrometer for our patio, and after a little fine-tuning—adjusting the temperature and humidity settings based on local weather—it’s now reading very accurately. The display is clear and easy to read, and it gives a good snapshot of the current conditions.If you're looking for a simple, reliable way to monitor temperature and humidity, this is a great choice. Works well, easy to adjust, and does exactly what it should.

After ~ 8 months quartz clock stopped keeping correct time. Slow by 1 hour plus after setting and increasing past time of setting and new AA battery. Noticed that this clock is currently not available. Has this clock been recalled and is there a replacement offered by L a Crosse Technology. Was there a year warranty?Disappointed!

I don't dislike anything about this product. I use this product on my deck and can tell time from just about anywhere in my backyard.

I replaced a clock that looked exactly like this one. The difference is that the original one automatically set the time and kept up with DST. This one works well outdoors but I don't want to have to reset it at DST.I couldn't find a version of the original clock that I had purchased. It serves the purpose but was disappointed with the downgrade.

We loved the product! The clock is beautiful! We bought it as a gift for our son and daughter-in-law. Unfortunately when they opened it, they discovered a small flaw in the construction. We’d like to commend Moon-Sonnet for standing behind the product they sold, even though they did not produce it. We appreciate their service and would most definitely purchase here again. Thank you for putting the customer first, a quality not often seen in companies today.

I was looking for a large clock to put in my courtyard. This clock fits the bill to a "T". It keeps great time (it's not atomic so you'll have to change it twice a year) but it keeps great time and looks great.
