This review is for the 30L which has a vacuum inlet and a low pressure outlet. Note that the pressure output is only suitable as a blower, perhaps for blowing bubbles into a beaker of water or similar. There is no safety shutoff if you over-pressurize the output. I tried to use it as a compressor and the internal hose popped off the fitting. The seller contacted me right away and explained how it works. So, it's a VACUUM PUMP, NOT a compressor.The unit is nicely made with a thick coat of white enamel paint over the steel body.According the gauge on the front it will develop a vacuum of 26.5" of mercury. (29.92" is a perfect vacuum)I'm using it to vacuum seal 3D printer filament because it will quickly remove more air than many other options.

Great little pump with no oil mist exhaust! Good for indoor/office use whenever you need to draw a vacuum with low flow rate. I've been using it to draw down very small vacuum bags for sticking adhesive evenly over very small areas, works perfectly!Good quality kit too, several extra inline filters to prevent fouling of the pump, and pretty quiet for what it is!

I have a 10l lab vacuum pump, but it's not always the fastest when I'm pulling large volumes of liquid with lots of particulates through my Buchner filter. This is only slightly larger than my 10l, but with roughly 50% more power, this pulls a lot stronger than my other one. It's reasonably quiet, but my 10L is definitely a bit quieter.My favorite bit is that I can use it to run positive OR negative pressure, which my 10L doesn't do. So if I'm running an experiment where I'm bubbling a gas through a liquid for a reaction but there's a danger of "suck-back", I can just have this constantly pushing positive pressure air through the system, preventing it from drawing back into the reaction vessel. This can ruin an experiment at best, and be extremely dangerous at worst. So having the positive pressure capability above and beyond my smaller 10L lab vac is a real plus for me.My only complaint is the external power brick. I sure wish they had fit all that in the case. I mean it does the job, but finding a spot for the giant power brick can be a challenge sometimes. It's a small complaint, really, but I wish you just plugged a power cord in the back of the pump like my smaller one. It's so much more compact that way.Overall, I'm a big fan. This will definitely speed up my filtration tasks, as well as giving me even more advanced capabilities. 4 stars, and recommended.

So I thought this was a way to remove oil from my car to do a oil change without having to get under the car - I am sure that seems silly. I have a habit of doing that... but it seems to turn on fine and makes a cute little science prop.

I know I am not using this for the intended purposes yet, but it has been great for my needs so far. I use it to seal up and minimize my hiking gear in ziplock-style bags so when I go out for a few days everything is nice and orderly and tiny. Works great for that and I've been loving it in contrast to the pain I would have to go through using my older, cheaper vacuum sealer.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

I've recently been learning/working with both carbon fiber and fiberglassing with epoxy, and was using a traditional (automotive) vacuum pump which requires oil. It did the job very well, but took up a fair bit of space and needed moderate ventilation.This pump accomplishes the same tasks, yet sits in a much smaller footprint and does not require oil. Additionally, it's noticeably quieter.Beyond satisfied with this pump thus far and would definitely order again. I'll update this review with any unexpected or interesting results in further use.
