  • 【LIGHT & PORTABLE】Laboratory vacuum pump is compact in design and small in size, making it easy to carry. Non-slip suction cup feet ensure the vacuum pump runs stably and does not shake when working.
  • 【FILTER IN SECONDS】Vacuum pump can work at a speed of 30 liters/minute, which can save time in the laboratory filtration session, and is suitable for a variety of liquids that take a long time to filter by gravity alone.VP-30L is a positive and negative pressure vacuum pump, which can either pump or blow air.
  • 【OIL-FREE】Oil-free small diaphragm pumps, which means there is no need for regular maintenance and no need to dispose of, or replace, oil, providing clean operation without contamination.
  • 【HOW TO USE】The air pump is only suitable for vacuuming, it can't enter liquid. The first step is to fix the complimentary filter membrane in the middle of the rubber tube, the second step is to fix the two ends of the rubber tube to the vacuum pump and the filter unit, the third step does not need to be set up for a one-button start thus getting the best experience.
  • 【WIDELY USED】Vacuum pumps provide a reliable source of vacuum for solvent filtration, distillation, vacuum drying, extraction and other experimental steps. Widely used in aerators, nitrogen blowers, solid phase extractors, solvent filters, air samplers and other applications requiring vacuum pressure.

Works great! Exactly what was advertised and performs just as you would expect it to. It's just as loud as a small vacuum pump, actually it's probably even quieter than your standard small oil-free vacuum pump. The suction cups on the bottom are a great addition too

The T-stereo vacuum pump came with the pump, power cord, and instructions. My primary use for this is in fact filtering large quantities of liquid - such as beer and wine clarification - through a largish funnel (called a Buchner funnel for those who want to know). Test bed included the pump, the funnel I just described, filter paper, a gallon of water - plain old from the tap - and a cup of flour along with a BA filter Erlenmeyer. So. Filtration was slow as time itself (as I knew it would be) without placing the system under modest vacuum. After doing so, despite a FULL cup of ordinary baking flour - which, little tip, does NOT dissolve in water - filtration commenced and continued apace, including through the "washing of the cake," piece of the work. This pump did a fine job, appears sturdy, a bit noisy, but....most of all for working with foodstuffs, as I plan to do - contains NO OIL!!I would have expected to pay double for this excellent pump. At the $150 or so price on offer, it is a superb value for money if you need such a device.Rating : 5 stars! Superb, buy now! 4: Solid, few flaws, good value. 3: Most common. Good product, fair value. 2: Flawed, poor value. 1: LandfillDisclaimer: Amazon Vines, product provided at price of US taxation, not gratis. I got this to use with my chemistry gear, such as my Buchner funnel and my vacuum distillation rig. I have a few vacuum pumps, but they're not "lab" vacuum pumps, they're industrial vacuum pumps, so they're not oil-free and there's quite a bit of setup to get them up and running. What I needed was a simple lab vacuum pump so I didn't have to drag in my big HVAC pump every time I wanted to filter something through my Buchner funnel. So when I got this today, I was pretty excited to try it out. Like any good chemist, I never test new gear using actual chemicals doing an actual experiment, so I set it up and ran a simple test using my Buchner funnel, a 1000ml 24/40 flask, some filter paper, this vacuum pump, and some plain old distilled water. With the pump not running, the water was dripping pretty steadily through the filter, but it wasn't exactly a torrent. Upon firing up the vacuum pump, the filtration rate increased by at least 5-6x (maybe more) and it filtered that water down like it was nothing. PERFECT.It's super-simple to set up. plug it in. 2 lengths of tubing, filter in the middle, one end on the pump, the other end on your vacuum apparatus. Flick the switch, and you're producing a vacuum. My next thing to filter will be the rubbing alcohol I use in my ultrasonic cleaner. Normally I just gravity-filter it, but that takes HOURS and this will be SO much faster. If you ever need to filter alcohol, say for an ultrasonic cleaner, just lay down a paper filter on the bottom of your Buchner funnel, put down 1/4" layer of activated charcoal (a combo of small pebbles and powder works best) and put a filter paper on top of that. Then you can pour your alcohol through the home-made activated charcoal filter, and the dirtiest brownest nastiest alcohol will come out sparkling, clear, and looking like brand new. It can then be re-used pretty much forever, only ever adding more alcohol to cover evaporative losses. Using gravity, it can take a long time as all the gook in there will slow the filters down a lot. But with a vacuum pump, what normally takes you hours now takes minutes. In no small way, this is a huge and valuable addition to any home (or professional lab) chemistry set. In chemistry, filtration is literally one of the most common things you do, either to recover created solids or get rid of them (of course this will determine which filter paper you use, as well, so make sure you're using either quantitative or qualitative filter papers, depending on your need). So a vacuum pump is almost as necessary as a Buchner funnel. And I will use this a LOT. If you engage in any kind of chemistry (or other distillation) activities, you're going to LOVE this vac pump. It makes things so simple, so easy, and so much faster. And this smaller one (the 10L?) is very quiet. You really don't mind that it's on. My bigger HVAC vacuum pumps are 2x as loud as this. This sounds pretty much like an aquarium air pump. Love it.5 stars.

unit started working out ok for the first three days or so.. I was able to create a -20mmHg vacuum (set up was perfect). The vacuum became extremely noisy after some time, and then it stopped working. Amazon was good in giving me my money back, however... All I see here are items that are exactly the same, with a different manufacturer name on it. It is like the same factory in China makes everything, and they add labels of different colors and change prices a little bit to give us the perception of choice. There is none. It is very hard to get quality products here.
