The description states that these bottles are resistant to thermal shock. I transferred a bottle from the autoclave to a room temperature water bath (not cold) and the bottle cracked in half, spilling out my media. I have done this numerous times with a pyrex erlenmeyer and never had an issue. So, despite what the description says, these do not hold up to thermal shock. Otherwise, these are heavy duty and leak proof. I only took off 1 star for the thermal shock, because they are good bottles in all other respects. I'll just have to let my media air cool before pouring plates.
