I installed the voltage regulator and checked the charging system voltage it was 14.2 V = normal. I ran the machine @ 1/2 hr , and it quit running , I found it had blown a fuse , replaced the fuse and restarted the machine , it is now not charging and it will blow the fuse after running at idle for @ 1min , replaced fuse again & let it set w/key on & the fuse blows in @ 1 min. I reinstalled the old reg. & it does not blow the fuse .

Had an issue with 4 wheeler not having enough [power and battery dying. I replaced both the voltage regulator and CDI. Quad runs great now.
