Wearing a veil at mass is a tradition begins in the early Church. It symbolized reverence and submission to the will of God. In early Christian culture, the veil was regarded as a symbol of modesty and it helps the catholic feel humbled and reverent, also makes you be more able to focus on pray.

I'm a convert to the Catholic church. I was introduced to veiling a while back and my sponsor gave me one to try out. It was pretty but I ended up returning it because it wouldn't stay on my head. A while later, I felt inspired to try again after attending a Latin Mass for the first time the other week and seeing a bunch of people veiling. I really like this veil; so far it stays on my head pretty well. Second time's a charm I guess!

This was the perfect color to match a dress, and the neutral color is a welcome change from the usual black or white mantilla I typically wear. Pretty lace.

The material is soft and the threading is substantial. Very well made. They are big enough to create a pretty drape over the shoulders even not over the eyes. The two pack is brilliant as they work well together or separate. I literally wear them any occasion I can think of.

This is the first veil I bought when I decided to start veiling at mass. It is a pretty style, but the lace is a cheaper quality and I do not really like the edges of the veil that are closest to the face, as they seem unfinished. This is a good budget option, but I invested in a beautiful handmade veil and I think it is worth it to spend a little more for something I wear at least once a week.

Very pretty. White as shown. Material is inexpensive, but the price reflects that. Overall exactly what I ordered. My only complaint is the shipping took forever, and I was unable to track the package - I can't tell if this was the fault of the manufacturer or of Amazon. I was never able to get an answer. It took 2 weeks to receive and I am a Prime member.
