Came from Danners that fell apart after a couple Arizona deer hunts. My feet used to be throbbing every night back at camp. These boots are super comfortable. Just had a deer hunt down south in the desert mountains and my feet felt great, even after standing on a rock bluff pretty much all day glassing. I went with the Wide version this time and glad I did as my toes had room to spread out naturally instead of being crammed together. I will happily continue to give LaCrosse my business as they make a very quality product!

Stiff at first, but by the end of blowing and shoveling snow today they felt fine. Definitely waterproof, and the insulation was more than adequate for temperatures in the mid 20s. Looking forward to elk season wearing these boots next year.

Bought these boots for an elk hunt. Kept my feet warm and dry but they are not a boot you want to hike in. The toe box is wide and the insoles are garbage. If your sitting tree stands and blinds they would be a good boot.

Bought these boots for work (I’m a brick mason/tuckpointer) and these boots have outlasted every pair of boots I’ve gotten. They are comfy and tough but they are not water proof at all they take on even the lightest of water and take a long time to dry out even with a fan going on them but aside from that they are perfect and true to size

First pair of hunting boots I have found that extreme provide comfort (wide toe box) along with warmth and water proof. They are very light weight and the lacing system works well. I have worn these in temps from 70f to - 15f, in rain and snow, and in dry conditions. The boots work well with snow shoes too. My feet do not get sweaty and sore after a long day in the field. It took me 20 years to find a pair of hunting boots like these and I have tried at least 5 other brands. Hopefully they will last 20 more years. These boots are the bomb. After 2 years still going strong. I have put many many miles on these in all kinds of conditions and terrain. The wide toe box keeps these comfortable.

****EDIT****I was going to update at the end of the 2020 season but the boots didn't last that long.....after hunting the high ground of the Catskill mountains since early October these boots are toast.. Split seam where the sole meets the upper and the leather tabs on the backside of the uppers have ripped off. Do not buy these boots if you hunt hard. THEY WILL NOT LAST!!! Let me start by saying don't believe the reviews that say "no break in required." These boots need to be broken in. They're stiff out of the box.The boots SEEM to be well made. They're lightweight and SEEM to be waterproof. I only briefly walked in ankle deep water. I'll update this review during the 2020 hunting season. As I, as well as the terrain I hunt are extremely tough on boots. I hope I get more than 2 seasons out of these boots.

The last pair of hunting boots that I had were Lacrosse that I purchased at least 20 years ago. They don't make that model anymore but the windrose seems to be as close as I can find to my old pair. These boots fit as expected and are really comfortable. Very little break-in time required. Very satisfied with this purchase.
