Lower Steering Column Bearing For 1976-1979 Bronco 1973-1979 F-ord Truck F150
Fits the following:
- 1973-1979 F-ord Trucks
- 1976-1979 F-ord Broncos
- Note : Also works for 66-72 F-ord Trucks and vintage F-ord cars of similar age with minor modifications to the column tube. (Warm tips :You will need to drill out three spot welds so that you can remove all parts of the stock bearing, and then this kit can be installed in its place.)
Features:
- Fits Right A full 2.125 inch outer diameter for a proper and snug fit in the column tube.
- 0.75 inch (shaft) inner diameter. 0.625 inch depth.
- Supplied with three stainless steel 1/4 inch cap screws and tapped mounting holes.
- This bearing will also work with Steeroids or similar power steering conversion kits for vintage Mustangs.

This fixed the slop in my steering wheel nicely. It won’t fix worn parts of the steering but it does what it’s supposed to. That is fix the slop in the steering wheel itself. Fit perfectly good and snug but not too big to actually fit screws lined up perfectly and the holes are tapped properly. Just make sure to line them up on the way in because getting it out would be a pain.

Bearing isn't very smooth, but it should last several years and it fits a 76 F250 column. easy to install.

Fits great and so much better than the cheap plastic stuff that was factory equipment. Just don’t tighten the screws too much! I stripped one out because I forgot the threads of the bearing housing part are aluminum. But would definitely buy again for my other trucks. Totally worth it!
