as the headline states. when trying to remove the belt, the tool rolls over and only gets the belt halfway off. there is no way to hold the tool in place while turning the crank. i guess this matters only if you are trying to remove a newer belt, since a stretch belt should not be re-used (then just cut it). the install was OK.

So much easier than muscling the belt on. They are clearly labeled and work great. I'd recommend them to everyone.

We need to replace an a.c. compressor for Ford Fiesta SE. I didn't want to invest in plastic materials, so went with this one. What a great decision it was! Ordered this tool and it arrived quick. Got the job done in a matter of minutes. Great price and product!

Worked absolutely perfect for a 2020 explorer 2.3 motor. Took no time and slid belt on and off with ease.

Didn't help with getting old belts off and sort of helped getting them on with my 2011 GMC Sierra 5.3.A flathead screwdriver and a bit of manhandling came in handy a lot more than this tool so I'm not sure they'll ever get used again for me, I wasn't super impressed or disappointed?

Stretch belts are terrible, these make the chore a bit easier, still require a bit of work to get it right. Overall simple and effective, just have patience and be a bit creative.

Compared these to my coworkers bluepoint set he got off the snap on truck and they are the exact same besides branding. Saved a lot of money on these compared to the blue point ones.

The right tool makes a hard job easy. On some newer cars, the small belts are stretch/tension installation. IN many cases, you can't service the serpentine belt without removing the smaller belt first. Use a large 1/2 ratchet to advance the belt. Use a little water to lubricate the wedges so that the belt slides off as designed and doesn't bind. Simple logical design.
