This is just what I needed for my newborn. The size is prefect & not to big. The design is gender neutral & it is nice & soft. Good quality for the little one.

What a lovey this little lamb is. So very soft with beautiful embroidery. This would make a lovely religious gift for a newborn boy or girl. The front is a soft cotton and the back is satin (just like the binding).Okay so maybe it’s just the quilter in me being picky but this could have been sewn better. First off it’s not square. The description says it’s 14” but not one side measures 14 inches. It ranges from 13.5, 13.625, 13.75, and 13.875 inches. (Okay so maybe that’s a little anal). The corners are not pushed all the way out and squared up. This makes it look sloppy and amateurish to me. Like you couldn’t take 30 seconds to turn the corners out properly? There was also a long loose threads that I had to cut off. This could have presented a potential danger to a newborn. Lastly, I do not feel any kind of stabilizer behind the embroidery. The cross should be okay since it has denser stitching but the “little blessing” won’t stand up to multiple washings. It will start to pucker more as the fabric and stitches shrink at a different rate and soon will be unreadable.At this price point I would have expected a little more care put into the construction. That’s why I removed one star. But most people (and no babies) will even notice or care how well this is sewn. They will just appreciate the message and the cuteness.
