My Lampberger would not light. Have used it for years so I was way past due in replacing it. Found and chose the, "Lampe Berger Basic Catalytic Burner."Replacement was easy and getting my fragrances burning again was easy.

I purchased 2 of these within the past month and both broke into pieces like this within the first 2 to 3 uses. I usually replace them once a year. This is very disappointing and they are not cheap. $16 each and only used twice. I reached out to the seller but have not been contacted about replacing these items. I'm hoping they will see this and respond. I'll update my review based on their response to this message. I'm very disappointed with my purchases from this seller.

I was constantly looking for a device with which to infuse fragrance into our home, but most options were rather feeble.The Lampe Berger is efficient and it is quite amazing at eliminating odors from cooking, pets and other offensive sources.The selection of fragrances is huge but one should be patient in finding just the right one. Some are "heavy" and can be overwhelming but in time, the right one will make itself known. I couldn't be more pleased with this product.

This is my third purchase of this product from third seller (Hope and Faith) over 5 years...I have a love of lampes, so I always order extra stones when I get a new lampe.Important things to know:this is the shorter wick; despite the photo, the wick sheath is silver (I already knew this, since this is my third time ordering), Amazon & Hope and Faith send genuine Lampe Berger wicks.Last year's that I burn every other day for at least 3 hours a day and often forget to shut has not cracked or clogged, though I never use lampe oil bc of migraines (91% alcohol + few drops of essential oil then a round of plain 91%). I'm still using the one from 3 years ago, too, so the quality has held up. Side note: I was pleased as punch to order two in this previous order and only pay a single shipping cost.

We have had our Lampe Bergers for many years and the stone finally stopped lighting. We ordered this package and it arrived extremely quickly. The product came in one piece, I always appreciate not having to assembly a ton of pieces. We simply took out our old stone and put this one in. Let it soak in the oil for an hour or so and it worked like a charm. This is high quality, and expect it to be usable for years to come.

Update, May 2019: I discovered something with these wicks and burners: My two units both had very low levels of fragrance, and the catalytic burners wouldn't catch on either one. In the past, I would have simply bought two new catalytic burners and wicks. But I decided to try filling both bottles half full, letting them sit for an hour or so, and trying again. They both lighted, no problem! And have worked fine for a few more burns since then. So it could be that the catalytic burner just gets too dry when the units are low on fragrance. A happy, money-saving discovery!I just purchased this to replace the one from my Bingo pack, which became unusable after very few uses (less than 20). This is the exact same product, so I'm hoping it lasts longer.This time, I won't let it burn for 2 minutes at start-up. I tried it with only 1 minute and it worked just fine. Hopefully, this will help.

Great wick. Fits perfectly on my full size lampe berger. The price is a little high, but saves me the time of going out and looking for a,replacement - which made it worth the price. I haven't used my lampe berger in many years and i found the wick had gone bad after pulling it out the cabinet to use. I was thankful that shipping was fast because I was able to light my lampe berger within a couple of days after pulling it out of storage.

Eventually the burners wear out, get clogged, damaged etc. Usually about every year. I ordered 2 and use them with different fragrances in 2 different burners.You have to remember a few things.-When you light the burner, don't let it burn for more than 2 minutes or so. If you do, it could damage the burner, or the wick, and it won't work like it's supposed to.-Eventually the burner will become black with use. You can clean the it by soaking it in 91% rubbing alcohol for a day or two. Doing this also cleans the rope of residue from the oils. I just store mine in a glass jar in the alcohol. That way it's always clean and the stone is always ready to be lit.-The burner is a bit fragile, so be careful, if you drop it, it may break.From past experience, I am expecting the 2 burners I just bought to last a year or more
