This seems to be a well made pin vise - certainly a step up from one I have that came with several small drill bits.It securely holds the smallest bits I have, down to .3 mm. Operation feels smooth and secure, with no wobble or flex.Very happy with the product.

Previously, I had a cheapo pin vise that I got from a craft store. My bits would slip all the time and I could barely drill a small pilot hole. This vise is such an upgrade, I’m mad I didn’t buy it sooner.It clamps down on the bits securely and I’m able to drill pilot holes (for say, eyelet screws in a wood picture frame) with ease. The bearings are smooth and it’s very easy to hold that end and twist the drill with the other. The metal construction feels solid and has a nice weight. I also like they offer color choices, the blue is very cool. Very good price, too.

I bought this to use with fossil prep. I needed a small tool to hold my tiny "bits" - they fit perfectly. I also liked that I could get them in different colors - one for each of us (so we know which one belongs to which person). They are comfortable in the hand, and it's easy to remove the bits to use a different one. Very economical as well (knowing I wanted to buy 3)
