Finally a beeswax bag with the zipper so the kids can now get bread and not leave the bag open. That’s been my issue with other bags, no zipper. I don’t have to worry about the bread getting stale, because the kids can now zip up the bag close. These are a nice large size. Easy to clean, just reverse and wipe out all the crumbs. Keeps my bread soft.

These bread storage bags are very great and perform much better than anticipated. I am disappointed there are no care instructions provided with the bags, but I will just hand wash them and air dry them as is instructed with most beeswax storage bags.I have been using these to store my jumbo sized muffins in the freezer to avoid having to individually wrap them all and I have found that it works exponentially better than both individually wrapping in plastic wrap or storing them all together in a plastic bag. I am so surprised that there have been no ice crystals forming at all inside and the muffins taste perfectly fresh once thawed. These bags are definitely amazing. The beeswax does have a strong odor to it, but that is to be expected with beeswax. Keep in mind that, due to the nature of beeswax, this could trigger some allergies if you are sensitive to pollen. The zipper works very well and I have had no issues with using it. The bags feel very well made and, while the clips do feel thinner than you would find on a backpack, so long as you aren't rough with it, it will hold up just fine. After all, you shouldn't be rough around food in general.Washing the bags has been just fine. It does take up more counter space when drying and the bag is large so you need an empty sink to wash the bag, but the whole process is relatively straight forward.I have been able to easily store a full dozen jumbo sized muffins (5" diameter, 4" height) in the bag, no problem, and I could easily get a larger sourdough loaf in there as well. The size is perfect - very large but not ridiculously so.

I got to try out these bags with two different loaves of bread and these bread bags really do help keep the air out and keep the bread fresh. One of the loaves was a very large 2 pound fresh baked italian rustic loaf and I'm happy to report that it fit just fine in this bag and has not dried out. Since you get two bags with this purchase, I'm using the other bag for cookies and bars so help keep them airtight and fresh. These bags are large, inside coated in beeswax, with a nicely sewn zipper on the end to be shut. Then, you can roll the end over on itself and use the attached buckles to keep air from infiltrating the bag. It's pretty great and I'm so excited to keep using these. Also, the material is a nice thick cotton canvas with a nice design on the front.

A good sturdy bag, well suited to its task. Sturdy enough that I actually used one for carrying some items around for a couple of days and it held up well. I am pleased with this item.

These bags seem like they are high quality. The size is really big and the zippers, though thinner plastic glide easily. Not sure what I would use the buckles for, but you never know. However the reason for the three stars is there are zero instructions (including care) or material content included. This is important to me because the content of these may be food contact surfaces and I would like to know exactly what the food is coming into contact with. I started sneezing when I checked to see if the bags smelled (which they do a little bit). And allergy symptoms have magically appeared after opening the bags, which is unusual since it is winter and the only thing I did was open the bags up and smell them.

Huge and will hold large loaves. Mixed feelings about the lining. I know it’s supposed to help keep the bread fresher longer, but be sure the bread is 100% cool before bagging or else mold. It sure if they’re machine washable. The clips are cheap and I’m not expecting them to last, but each bag has a zipper closure. Overall I’d recommend.

I make a lot of our breads, but usually have to freeze half the loaf or end up tossing it out, which I hate. I've tried vacuum sealing half a loaf, but that's a pain as it needs to be opened to take out a slice, then either clipped closed, which defeats the purpose of vacuum storage, or I store them in plastic bags which don't keep bread very fresh. I've looked at beeswax wraps, but that wouldn't really work for the freezer. I looked at linen bread bags, but I didn't think they'd do well to keep my bread nice in the freezer. Then I saw these. They combine beeswax and linen storage, plus are zippered and clipped to keep them well closed. I think I've found my solution, and over time will know for certain. As far as these particular bread bags, they are well made, attractive, and plenty big. The linen is well sewn, and strong enough for repeated use, without being at all stiff. They seem to be at an average price point, and are a good quality.I need to take a few more weeks to see how well they do keeping bread nicely in the freezer, and will come back to update if anything changes. I may try using one in the freezer and one for artisan breads in the bread box, but I haven't decided if that's what I want to do or not, so will also update on that later on.Overall, if you're looking for this kind of bread storage, these are a nice product and I like them.
