This magnifying glass is amazing. I have used it to watch viseos on YouTube as it is better than my glasses..It helps me do a better job when I give myself a manicure. I am sure I will find many more benifits.

This is as mentioned in advertisement by company. It is very helpful with fine print, coins and general use. I use this at home and would use it on trips, but to just carry around would be little awkward because of its size. There is a light on it that helps and you can get a good grip on the handle. Thank you

Wow, my first 30x magnifying lense is so good at seeing mint marks that I did not need to turn on its light. Yet the 3 way light is a great feature. It's lightweight too. The cloth for cleaning is a perfect addition. The box enhances it's presentation. Great value for the affordable price. Thank you.

This magnifying glass is NOT a 30x magnifyer (or 45x). It is only 3x. As a 3x magnifier it works well for reading fine print (like food labels and expiration dates). But it is NOT 30x by any means. Amazon needs to follow up on this and have them change their product info. the 3 star rating is cause it is handy as a 3x magnifying glass to have around the house (kitchen, office, bedroom, etc.) But don't buy if you are really looking for a 30x magnification.

The only problem I have with this magnifier, is the battery compartment cover. It doesn't stay closed well. I'm constantly clicking it back into place. It bugs me. I'll probably have to put a piece of tape around the handle to keep this from happening... Other than that - it's a great magnifier. It has a glass lens and the LED lighting is great. By the way, 30x is what you want for a household magnifying glass... Anything less, is useless... This unit is a 30x unit... I gave one to my mom, she's in her 80's; She uses it very often... I've actually purchased several of these. I keep them all around the house and I use them often...

This magnyfier is really good. The optics are clear and now I can read the smallest of print easily. It is well made and the LEDs are very helful and powerful. It can double as a flashlight when needed, too. I bought 3 of them and gave one to a friend. This is a really good product that does the job very well.
