Perfect size and looks great. Works as designed to store fire place ashes. I also use to catch hot ashes when I smoke meats in my offset smoker.

We originally had a galvanized can that had to be left outside. It got some holes so we decided to treat ourselves to an actual ash bucket. We go through a lot of wood, since we are exclusively wood stove heat in SW Montana. It's nice & large. We really like the shovel, larger scoop than the one that is part of our set. Since it has insulation on bottom, can leave it inside next to stove on the stone base. We'll made, solid.

Nice bucket, shovel, and brush, but the lid was bent and honestly too much trouble to return it for a replacement.

Nice tight fitting lid. If you scoop up a few hot coals with your ashes you need a bucket with a tight lid so that smoke and gases don't fill your house. This bucket fits that need. The scoop is also nice. The brush is ok but could have a longer handle.

Nice n big, almost thought it was too big but decided to keep it, less trips to dump the ashes. And YES it DOES hold both shovel and brush in side compartment.👍
