Our 14-year-old, 40lbs pup loves this mat. And so do I!It has great quality and size, which allows long and valuable enrichment for your pup. Having tried many snuffle mats before, I have to say that none of them made hiding treats so easy. The strips have little folds which make hiding food a breeze and add some difficulty for experienced sniffers. I also like the none slip bottom. We tried the mat on hardwood floor, tile and carpet and it always stayed put. The mat also successfully went through its first wash cycle. It came out like new!I also have to give a thumbs-up for the color scheme of the mat. Dogs are red-green color blind. Blue and yellow are the two colors our dogs can actually see, which makes them want to engage with the mat even more.

My favorite snuffle mat among several.* EASY SET UP: I just sprinkle kibble/treats then rake through it a couple times and it distributes evenly. With other mats, I’ve had to spend time breaking up clumps of kibble/treats or tucking them into pockets.* Fluffy: the long, densely packed fringes actually HIDE the treats/kibble.* JUST THE RIGHT DIFFICULTY: actually challenges clever dogs without discouraging them* Soft: I don’t have to worry about my dog scratching her tongue or nose* EASY CLEAN UP, and holds up well: I pop it in the wash with detergent and baking soda to get it extra clean. after a quick air dry, it’s as good as new. This is HUGE because dog puzzles/mats/toys are bacteria magnets :)I can’t recommend it enough!

I have a hyperactive dog with a very short attention span, and this snuffle mat has been a fantastic addition to our routine! We were advised by a dog trainer to use a sniffing mat to help improve our dog’s attention, and it’s been a total success. My dog was immediately interested in it and now spends a good amount of time working to find the food.Compared to other snuffle mats we’ve tried, this one stands out as my favorite. The mat we used before was small and would slide around easily on our smooth floors, which was frustrating for both me and my dog. This mat stays firmly in place, even during energetic sniffing sessions, making it so much better to use.It’s also incredibly easy to load the food, which saves me a ton of prep time. The design hides the food well, which keeps my dog challenged and mentally stimulated—something that’s so important for his active nature.I also love the soft, high-quality material, which is gentle on my dog’s nose, and the beautiful colors are a nice touch. The size is just right—large enough to keep him busy but not too bulky to manage.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this snuffle mat. I highly recommend it to other dog owners, especially those looking to improve their dog’s focus and attention!

I love the quality of this product!! Great size for my large breed dog. Gives me some alone time for my needy and high energy dog 😄. This is built to last and is able to hide large treats.

This mat is a basic fleece snuffle mat. There is very little finishing to it, but hey, its a snuffle mat. its going to be tugged at and chewed on and destroyed at some point anyway. The folds are deep enough to actually allow small food kibble and treats to hide down in the pockets and folds, I just spread the food out then use a brushing motion on the flaps and folds to get the kibble to settle down into it. My 18 week pup goes to town, though shes figured out if she just grabs the middle and shakes the mat, the food and treats will come flying out of it, so I feel like civilized sniffing and rooting is a thing of the past.

This is one of the best if not the best snuffle mat I've gotten for my 9 year old husky. It's very durable, high quality, and true to size. As he is a husky doing husky things, my boy can be quite destructive when bored. With that being said, most snuffle mats we've used in the past were too small and/or would not last more than a couple of sniff sessions. This one is rather large as described in the product description and has passed the husky quality test numerous times as we've had it for a few weeks now and it is still in one piece after multiple sniff sessions. I also like how this hides the treats really well and I appreciate the blue/yellow color scheme as I've heard dogs see everything in hues of those colors. Though 9 years old, my boy still has pep in his step and this mat definitely helps to calm him down. He loves it so much, he'll even sleep on it and nurse his chew bones on it (doggo tax photos included). If I ever need to replace this snuffle mat, I will be buying this product again!
