Magnificent Magnacore string! Sometimes could be overpowering. Although, it need time to break in for my G string.

So far this rosin doesn’t seem to work That could be because I am trying your rosin on your new cello strings I just bought. So I am giving this a few more days hoping the sound improves.

I have an inexpensive student cello whose tone I like a lot, and I put Larsen A and D on it (I had never had anything but Red Label...) I wanted something with some power for the G, and this one almost had too much! It took longer to settle in than I expected, and sometimes still surprises me. But I like it, and I'm going to get the C once I redeem enough cans...It just feels like it's there for me, for whatever I need it to do. I am an intermediate player and the strings may well be worth more than me and my cello together. But I'm glad I bought it--now. I gave it four stars just for my own experience as an amateur--I don't know whether it reflects the quality of the string at a professional level.

Clarity similar to spirocore tungsten, beautiful warm and dark sound.

I have an old Italian cello. The string produces a powerful sound but sounds a little metallic when I play the open G string. This has gotten better, however, and I like the string anyway.

Oh--my--gosh! You must try these strings to believe the quality of sound they help your cello project. I go both the C and G Magnacore and, when I played a simple C-major scale for my teacher, she said that my very humble cello sounded like a Strad. No kidding. And the service from this vendor was/is excellent. I plan to buy any future cello-needs from this vendor. Thank you for bieng on top of the latest and greaterst string technology!

In my opinion, these strings beat Spirocore (Tungsten) by far. They have a warm, rich sound and project more than other lower Larsen strings. The C string tends to be a little quieter than the G.I used to use Larsen's Tungsten Wirecore strings, but these are a huge step up for about the same price.Yes, they're expensive. Are they worth it? Yes.
