These 3/8” bolts are solid brass, they were very easy to install and they give a nice tight fit.These will be my go to if I ever have to use again.

That the bolts were 5/16 and the nuts were 3/8.Nuts were to big for a smaller 5/16 bolt.Could not use.

I've ordered this product before and never had any problems. I just recently reordered and the first package arrived with mismatched nuts and bolts (Nuts were larger than the bolts). I figured it was just a fluke and notified amazon. Amazon responded and informed me not to worry about returning the defective kit, another one would be sent at no charge. Unbelievably, the next kit arrives with the same issue (nuts are too big for the bolts). I emailed the manufacturer about the issue.

I ordered two sets of these. If they are Lasco parts, who can say. - They were loose, not carded as described. One set contained 2 brass bolts, 6 rubber washers, 6 brass washers, and 4 brass nuts. (Short 2 brass nuts.) The other set contained 2 brass bolts, 6 rubber washers, 4 not-brass washers, and 4 not-brass nuts. (Short two nuts and two washers.) The bolts are all 3" x 5/16", not 3/8" diameter as described. The metal washers and nuts are non-magnetic, but definitely not brass. In fact, these pieces look like they're from an uncarded Fluidmaster 6102 set. Of the pieces that were shipped, I will say the brass parts and rubber washers are sturdy. I have to get the old, completely corroded, brass-plated parts out of my tanks so I will have to go with these.

Good quality. The extra pieces allow you to put rubber washers on both sides of the toilet tank, and to crank them down.Suggestion: if your toilet is in a corner, get a stubby 9/16ths box wrench. My smallest adjustable wrench was too long to tighten the bottom nut effectively.

I had previously tried stainless steel bolts to counter what appears to be corrosive tap water, but the heads were too small, and the rubber washers squished out of place, causing serious leakage.THESE, on the other hand, have a bigger diameter (though they still fit easily through the tank boltholes), so they don't cause leaks. And since they're solid brass (unlike the brass-plated ones which corrode heavily here north of Houston), I'm confident they'll be leak-free for years.

These are the real deal. I was surprised that I couldn't find solid brass bolts with solid brass nuts and washers in my local big box hardware stores. These are hefty and solid, and should last much longer than the ones that are simply brass coated.They arrived with a few dark tarnish spots on them, but I believe that is typical of brass.I'm back to buy my second set.
