The LASCO 19-6193 Female Pipe Thread Adapter is a useful adapter that fits onto a 3/8-inch OD tube to a 1/2-inch pipe thread. Its push-in fitting type makes installation simple and fast for even an amateur in plumbing. Made of plastic, this fitting light-duty adapter is light enough yet robust enough to get lightweight jobs done at an affordable price; thus, it is great for simple home repairs or projects.However, this plastic construction may not be good for heavy-duty or high-pressure purposes because it may wear out faster than its metal counterparts. All in all, it's reliable and cheap for the intended purpose, hence a well-deserved 4-star rating!

Bought two, both cracked while installing, these are cheaply constructed, crap fittings.

It is not as described. it claims to be 1/2" ID, instead it is 3/4" ID (garden hose) This will NOT work with your water softener. This is the third try, they have all had the same issue.

Perfect replacement for the same part that was included in an install kit for the Frabke Triflow. I would never use the push to connect by choice, but that's what is required for this kit. Replaced one that started with a slow leak and got worse. Ive now replaced three of these one three different sinks and I'd estimate the time to fail is about 11-14 years on these with daily use and the occasional bump under the sink.
