Made from durable stainless steel, this large guiro features a hollow, open-ended design with a tightly textured surface that gives a raspy sound with bright overtones. It is significantly louder, coarser, Rougher sound than the large LP Torpedo guiro. An attached metal handle makes it easy to hold in any position. Also included is the LP333 Pro guiro Scraper.

Overall, great quality and instrument. Compared to others bought, this is a sturdy guiro. Like any other instrument, it has to be used a few times to break it in.

I am mix and the Dominican side of me plays on and on i love the sound a great deal, the pick that came with it works well to perfect the sound i stuffed it with some fabric and man i play all the time.... my neighbors doesnt mind because no one complained yet lol
