this is a nice solid stand. easy to setup. I like the strap a lot more that the screw block. The only issue is I am not sure if I have the mid poles connected correctly because the directions do not show how it should look. But it still seems solid.

This stand is made for a standing position. Do not purchase if you are playing seated. There is another LP stand that is perfect for seated playing.

After years of buying things online for my music studio, this is the first time I paid what I thought was a little too much for a Bongos stand, but what I got was a state of the art. This stand is soooo solid, and sturdy, and so beautifully crafted with such an elegant design that I ended up placing it with the bongos in front of my music room stage area and placed the guitars behind it. It is an amazing purchase.

It took only a few minutes to assemble. Great quality and it fit my bongos. What more do you want!?4/15/11 - update - ok, after a few months I went to disassemble it to take my bongos and stand on the road, the wing nut got cross threaded. I had only hand tightened it when putting it together. But it broke off taking it apart. My guess is all the wiggling of playing jammed the nut. Amazon is replacing the entire stand. But I am not sure how to prevent this from happening again. You may want to upgrade to LP330 camlock version.
