Purchased this for my wife so it would be easier for her to switch between colors when she’s working on a project. She loves it and uses it constantly. Couldn’t be happier and it looks great too.

This yarn bowl is gorgeous. It's a lot bigger than most other ones I've seen, which is nice. It can also double as storage for smaller projects. The only thing I didn't like, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that it arrived with a horrible and very strong chemical smell. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to use it because the smell was so bad! I'm happy to say, that after several weeks of airing out, the smell is now gone completely.

My kids took on crocheting as a hobby and this is something that they have been asking. I finally got one and although it does its function well, I was a little disappointed with its build quality. I appreciate that its made out of real wood and the varnish/die on it seems consistent. My complaint is the transition on the curved area. Instead of making it look like once consistent piece, you get multiple vertical line from multiple pieces needed to create the curve, and its not smooth when i run my hands over it. For $36, i exepected better woodwork here.
