About this item

  • LayaTone Mens Hooded Wetsuit is made of 3mm neoprene, which has superb malleability and elasticity. It also has excellent waterproof, cold and UV protection. Neoprene is flexible, not easy to break, durable washing, extremely high resistance to extrusion, but also effective in providing warmth and protection against sunburn and skin scratches.
  • Wetsuit with hood helps reduce heat loss from your head, providing comfort and warmth where you need it most, so you can stay in the cold water longer.
  • Designed for divers, this hooded wetsuit is perfect for scuba diving, but can also be used for diving and snorkeling in cold water.
  • Please wash your wetsuit by hand with warm water after each use. And after washing, you should Air dry your wetsuit as much as possible and avoid sun exposure. Keeping your wetsuit clean and sanitary will help prolong its life and keep it water, cold and UV resistant.
  • We offer 24-hour customer service and a 30-day unconditional refund to ensure your satisfaction. Please refer to the size chart to choose the right size before ordering. If there is any quality problem, please contact us and we will provide free replacement service and no need to return.

I bought this wetsuit to allow me to swim in winter in my pool. I have a lot of wetsuits, vests, and hoods, as I surfed for thirty years and also still scuba and free dive. My spring and full 2/3mm suits both have back zippers and I can't zip them by myself, they also don't have hoods. As you know the head loses more heat than anything else. So....I bought this suit. Its front zip, and it has a hood.I used the sizing chart to select a 2xl. I am 5' 10" tall, 190 pounds, with a 45" chest and a 37" waist. The suit fits fairly well. It is a bit loose in the neck and upper chest area. It lets water slosh around in those areas but not excessively, probably a half cup at most. All my other hooded suits and vests are too tight in the neck area and tend to gag me or restrict breathing, so I am OK with the loose fit. It would be almost impossible to get the perfect fit in that area unless the suit was custom made, so I am happy with the way the suit fits on the other 98% of my body, and I do appreciate my neck is not being strangled. When I zip the suit up (the zipper is high quality too) and bring the chin material up near my lips the suit is fairly water tight, making it toasty in most areas. The leg, shoulder, arm, and waist fits are great. The material is super stretchy and allows me to swim free style fairly unrestricted. The only negative, and its somewhat minor, is getting the suit off. Its impossible without some sort of bar to allow you to pry it off. I put the bar behind my shoulder blade and pried it off. It took me a bit to figure out the the technique but it works. Once you can get the hood down far enough to grab you are golden.I would say this suit is as good or somewhat better than my O'Neils and other name brands. The value ratio on this thing is great. A suit similar to this would be $180.00 in a dive shop. I am using it in 68 - 77 F water. Its perfect for that. After I reach 78 I will go back to a shoulderless hooded vest. Once it gets below 68 F I will stop swimming!! But my dog wants to chase me in the pool...so maybe not!Suit looks well made and the zipper set up in good with slow water infiltration. Its not a dry suit by any means but its still nice
