I just tried out this LBL Leading the Better Life jacket on a weekend hike, and it’s a winner. The camo green color is sharp and blends right in with the woods. The jacket’s lightweight enough to pack without feeling bulky, yet it’s tough against the wind and rain.Fit-wise, it’s spot on. I usually wear an XL, and this one fits true to size with enough room to toss on a hoodie underneath. The deep pockets are great for securely stashing stuff like my phone and keys. What impressed me the most was how it kept me dry during a drizzle without making me feel like I was in a sauna. It breathes well.I’ve gone through a few jackets for my hikes, but this one stands out for its comfort and practicality. It also looks good enough to wear out for errands, not just on the trail. This is a good bet if you’re looking for a dependable jacket that won’t let you down in the outdoors. Keeps the weather out and doesn’t weigh you down, which is exactly what I need.

I ordered this jacket in size large and I think it is true to size. This jacket material feels soft and is comfortable to wear. It has the solid fabric on the outside; on the inside, there is mesh fabric in some places. Inside, this jacket has an interesting mix of mesh and solid rainproof fabric. I think they used the mesh to help with evaporation when you are sweating, so I think that is a good feature. This jacket has an adjustable strap at the neck (to tighten the hood) and another one at the waist to prevent cold air from coming in underneath. The hood is large so there is extra room for your head (the hood actually fell down and covered my eyes but that is OK). The outside of the forearms each have an internal pocket and I noticed that one is solid rainproof fabric (internally) and one has a mesh side, so you can put different items in them depending on your needs. I think they tried to put some thought into how this jacket would be used and I really appreciate the number of zippered pockets.

The XXL fits perfectly for me, nice light wind breaker, not hot even if left on a 70F day, but not so light it won't keep you warm in 50-60F weather.Looks great, has tons of secured zipper pockets, even a hoodie. It's water proof/resistant, can be folded away pretty compact if you need carry it in a backpack.Easy care as well, just throw in the washer and hang dry. Great for camping, hiking or shopping for groceries, definitely recommend.

Cant go wrong with this. When satnding out in the rain... this is a life saver. Love the extra adjustments for the bottom and cuf the help prevent wind blowing through. I think it would have been better to have the pun slots on the inside of jacket. Just my opinion.

This windbreaker jacket is very nice. The jacket looks nice, feels nice, and looks good on my son and husband. The jacket has several useful pockets and well as hoops in the front for additional gear. The added space in the back for a backpack is a good idea. You can zip up the bag when you're not using a backpack, therefore keeping it flat and normal looking. This really looks like a quality jacket. It will be great for hiking trips.

This windbreaker could have been good if a few things were changed. However, in the current state, this jacket is not worth it. First of all, the sizing runs VERY large. I double checked to make sure I actually received the correct size, a large, which I did. Even wearing a layer underneath, I am swimming in it. I think even a medium would be slightly large, and a medium in any other top is usually very tight on me.This jacket does have a ton of pockets which is nice, but the material is thin even for a windbreaker. For some reason, even though listed as black/white, there is a strong purple color. I don't mind it, but it isn't accurate to what is advertised. I think for about half the price, it wouldn't be a bad buy.
