Step ONE
Use awl to place a hole in the postion where you want to install snap.
Step TWO
Put a cap in the hole and a socket or stud from another side of cloth, and press it with snap pliers to get a male or female part of snap.
Step THREE
Repeat the same step to get both two part of the a snap. You can DIY your favorite color for your snap.

The kit comes with several colors of snaps that I didn’t realize were included. I am making fabric Christmas ornaments and eyeglass cases with the snaps.

I am totally new to this part of the crafting side where snaps are needed. So I don't have anything to compare it to, except to let other new users know how great this item is.I make custom helmets for display purposes. I use 3d printing and injection molding.I had no idea how to measure snaps and basically only had a working theory of how to assemble.This kit is awesome! The crimp tool itself is if high quality and I had to do some reading of instructions to make sure I was using the correct parts on the crimp tool, but it was all there. Super nice to be able to learn and have everything I needed in one kit.Great value. Easy to understand and use. High quality case that allows me to store it securely (since I don't use it everyday).I am very pleased with how this product helped me improve my product.
